Welcome to my personal website!

I am an Economist in the Research department of the National Bank of Belgium.

I also remain affiliated with the Institute of Development Policy (IOB) of the University of Antwerp, where I obtained my PhD in Applied Economics.

My main fields of research are international and development economics. I am particularly interested in issues related to sovereign debt, international trade, and the IMF -- but I am open to explore other topics too. My work has featured in the Journal of International Money and Finance, World Bank Economic Review, The World Economy, Economic Development and Cultural Change, Journal of African Economies, Journal of Globalization and Development, Emerging Markets Finance and Trade, Global Environmental Change, Scientometrics, among other journals.
