Bishop Kevin Dowling - UK Visit June 2014

Bishop Kevin Dowling of Rustenburg, South Africa, Denis Hurley's first cousin once removed and
a Patron of the Denis Hurley Centre in Durban, is coming to Britain from 23-27 June 2014 to publicise 
Archbishop Hurley's legacy and to raise funds for the completion of the Denis Hurley Centre. 
 
He will be speaking in Edinburgh, Birmingham and London, as follows:
 
In Edinburgh and Birmingham he will be speaking on
 "The Joy of the Gospel Then and Now: from Archbishop Denis Hurley to Pope Francis".

  • Wednesday 25 June at 7.00 pm (preceded by Mass at 6.00 pm)

  • On Thursday 26 June at 10.30am, he will conduct a study day for religious at the Oblates' DeMazenod Centre at Tower Bridge, London E1 on the theme of "Religious Life in the light of Pope Francis: being prophetic and realistic in the world of today".  Further details from Fr.
