I am an assistant professor of philosophy at the University of Akron Wayne College. I received a B.A. in philosophy from UCLA and a M.A. and Ph.D. in philosophy from Syracuse University.

I am primarily interested in how cognitive psychology and neuroscience can inform our philosophical theories of the relation between perception and cognition. My current research is on the metaphysics and perception of colour. My secondary interest is in economic theory and political philosophy.
