The A, B, C, D’s of Medicare

posted Sep 28, 2018, 9:05 AM by Deerhurst Church   [ updated Sep 28, 2018, 9:05 AM ]

Adult Christian Ed invites you to attend the educational presentation of “The A, B, C, D’s of Medicare” on Sunday, October 21 at 11:30 am in the Library.  Bring your family and friends!

Medicare choices can be confusing. Plan to join Rich Lash at this informational meeting as he reviews the facts face-to-face. While this is very important for folks currently on Medicare, it’s especially important for those who will soon be turning 65.

Make sure your Medicare plans still works for you- especially with the changes for 2019!

Some of the topics we will cover are:

•             Original Medicare- Part A & B

•             Medicare Prescription Part D and NY State EPIC plans

•             Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage options

•             When you can switch, change or adjust your coverage

•             And plenty of time for questions

Rich understands how confusing all the options can seem. As a broker, he represents many fine companies offering Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement and Medicare Prescription Part D plans.

Collecting Receipts from Dash's
Please bring your Dash's receipts to the church. PW is still collecting them and redeeming them for cash.
These monies go to support our Youth activities: camping trips, VBS, scholarships and much more.
Get in the habit of bringing them in after you shop.
Just remember that Dash’s will not accept anything dated before 2017.

If you have any questions about the cancellation of worship services here at Deerhurst, please listen to "Storm Closings" on radio station WBEN, AM 930, or call the church office on Sunday morning.
The Pastor and the Session know that you will make the best decision as to whether it is safe for you and your family to get out and be on the roads.
