Thursday, June 28th
It's our turn at the KEN PRES FOOD PANTRY & SOUP LUNCH. It looks like
we need just one more person to sign up on the Mission Outreach bulletin board.

Once a month you have this opportunity to help us keep the Deacon's Food Cupboard stocked. Purchase what you like from the table in the narthex and leave it in the shopping cart. We do the rest.
Thank you for your business!

Committee members will be in the back of the Sanctuary after church with name and address lists for
members to review and mark accordingly; either confirming that the information stays the same or that changes need to be made. Please stop by before leaving church.

Saturday, June 23, 2018
Deerhurst has participated in this community event since 2005. Through the years, our church’s outreach to the RFR has contributed 10’s of thousands of dollars to help in cancer research.
We are preparing for this year’s effort in a spirit of renewal and hope. Mark Fera has volunteered to be the team captain. Families, couples, youth, and friends in the community are all welcome to join the ‘Deerhurst Disciples’. You can register at the “Ride for Roswell” website as a rider, a volunteer or donate to any of our riders.
The registration fee for riders is $20. The minimum fundraising commitment is $200 for adults (or $500 for the Canada route) and $50 for youth riders (ages 17 and under). Please see Mark for helpful tips and tools to reach
your fundraising goal. Collectively, we are Deerhurst Strong!

They are “suncatchers” and the artist so far has made an Angel, Cross and Celtic Knot.
You can contact her about what she has available.

Collecting Receipts from Dash's
While you are cleaning up after the holidays you may find some Dash receipts hanging around.
Please bring them to the church. PW is still collecting them and redeeming them for cash.
These monies go to support our Youth activities: camping trips, VBS, scholarships and much more.
Get in the habit of bringing them in after you shop.
Just remember that Dash’s will not accept anything dated before 2017.
