MY HUBBY, MY LOVE, MY LIFE

Tho We've been together for so long,

Most of the time has been like a song.

I do love you so very much,

I still tingle just from your touch.

You're always so helpful and neat,

and I'm so proud your're mine to keep.

Yes, time is swiftly passing us by,

like flowers in spring, then summer, they die,

But you keep me going strong,

guiding me thru right and wrong,

Loving me as you do,

always so sweet and kind too.

Without you, I'd be so very weary,

and to go on in life, would be so dreary.

Your certain laugh and smile,

is a welcome to stay a while,

To see you in cheerful spirits,

is listening to a song with all the right lyrics.

So glad our lives have come together and touched,

and I will always LOVE YOU SO VERY MUCH.

Hubby is a retired army captain, dual rated aviator and instructor while on active duty, served two years in Viet Nam, what a lonely time that was without him, and with two small babies in a strange land. Had just been transferred to Ft Rucker, Alabama, where he finished up his last 4 months of flight school and then off to Viet Nam, came back, stayed a year at Ft Rucker, and off to Viet Nam again. Those were some hard days and nites to endure, but am so thankful he was fortunate to return home to his family.

Now retired, he can be his own boss, and can take the time if he wants, to attend motorcycle rallies and meetings with his motorbuddies.

Have many moments of pleasure and fun with my hubby over the years, we both have had our struggles and strife, but the love we have for each other has held us thru and together for over 49 years, that is wonderful!!!!
