CTF

  • on class vista box
    • download ctf.vpn (below)
    • run shrew.net vpn client (access manager)
      • import .../Download/ctf.vpn
    • connect to CTF
    • enter user id / pw (will be given out)
  • on gnome bt5 vm (on vista box using player) ... was from Hardening disk 2  ... unpack if need to
    • run vm
    • load vpnc VPN client
      • vpnc IPSec clinet
        • if gnome, run "sudo apt-get -y install vpnc"      (if kde, run "sudo apt-get -y install kvpnc")
root@bt:~# apt-get -y install vpnc

root@bt:~# vpnc
Enter IPSec gateway address: 70.166.44.98
Enter IPSec ID for 70.166.44.98: GROUP_ID
Enter IPSec secret for RedCell@70.166.44.98: GROUP_PW

VPN clients for CTF


for windows
for mac
  • the native network VPN client in mac works for the CTF environment
for linux (e.g. BT5 VM or live CD)
  • vpnc IPSec clinet
    • if gnome, run "sudo apt-get -y install vpnc"
    • if kde, run "sudo apt-get -y install kvpnc"
