Tai chi is a 400 year old Chinese martial art focusing on control, balance, whole body movement, and relaxation as a method of generating energy and improving health. The benefits are well documented in the medical literature. This class focused on a short (8 move) form. The instructor, Patrick Juola, has been studying tai chi since 1991.
Beginners are welcome to join at any time! This is a wonderful introduction to tai chi for those who have never done it before, or those looking for a refresher class.
