Please join us as we welcome author and teacher Byron Ballard back to Pittsburgh! As Asheville's Village Witch, Byron keeps alive Appalachian folk magic traditions and explores their European roots. If            you got to hear Byron talk at last year's Pagan Pride Day, you know what an entertaining and enlightening speaker she is. Her topic for this talk:

Sovereign Herbs: Vervain, Mugwort and Blessed Rue
These three Green Allies form the basis of many useful remedies and workings. To know them deeply is to open a door into a deepening of practice, and is an invitation to move easily in a world of                 honest magic.

Byron is the author of Staubs and Ditchwater: a Friendly and Useful Introduction to Hillfolks' Hoodoo, and its sequel, Asfidity and Mad-Stones. She has spoken at numerous festivals, conferences, and            gatherings.
