At present, I am an Assistant Professor in the Mathematics Department,IIT, Bombay, Powai, Maharashtra, India. Before joining IITB, I was a Postdoc associate at Department of Mathematics, Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, USA, under the mentorship of Prof. M. Renardy. I received my Ph.D in Mathematics under the supervision of Prof. Mythily Ramaswamy from TIFR Centre For Applicable Mathematics , Bangalore, India in December, 2015. I joined the Integrated Msc-PhD Programme at TIFR-CAM in August, 2009 and obtained my M.Sc degree in Mathematics before pursuing my Ph.D. I completed my B.Sc degree from Presidency college, Kolkata under Calcutta University, West Bengal, India.

• • Linear and Nonlinear partial differential equations,

  • Controllability and stabilizability of PDEs (specially Navier-Stokes equations, Visco-elastic flows, Fluid-structure models),

  • Optimal control problem,

  • Microlocal analysis.
