The "DCTA" is a community based organization falling under the umbrella of the United States Tennis Association (USTA).  The "DCTA" is a non-profit organization established in 2008.  Our purpose is to develop the game of tennis at all levels for juniors and adults.

Where has the summer gone?

Session 5 begins Monday August 15 for all Juniors!

As is the case during Session 5, because of HS practice beginning,
there are a couple scheduling changes

Beginning Wednesday August 10, early classes will be held on Courts 1 & 2

There will be no classes on Tuesday August 16 and
Thursday August 18th

The make-up days will be Friday August 19th and
and Friday August 26


The will be a free cardio class on Wednesday August 17
7:00pm - 8:30pm

All are welcome!

2016 Summer Youth Tennis

Beginning June 20, 2016 through August 25, 2016

(No classes on July 4th)

2016 JUNIOR SESSION SCHEDULE

Dearborn-area youngster's ages 4-18 will have the opportunity to
learn the game of tennis this summer through classes offered by the
Dearborn Community Tennis Association.

All classes meet at the Dearborn High courts.

For children ages 4-14, the DCTA will conduct three classes featuring
QuickStart Tennis, a revolutionary approach to tennis in which the
courts and racquets are smaller, the balls modified and the scoring
system simplified.

Pee Wee (ages 4-6) introduces young players to the game.
Class 
meets from 9 - 9:45 am.

Beginner (ages 7-8) develops sound fundamentals and a basic
knowledge of the game.
Class meets from 10 - 11 am.

Advanced Beginner/Competitive Intro (ages 9-13) for players who have mastered the
basic elements of the game and are ready to compete.
Class meets 
from 11 am. - 12:30 pm.

High School Development (ages 14-17) features instruction and drills in regular
tennis designed for the Junior Varsity level player, designed to improve skills and execution.
Class meets from 12:30pm - 2:00pm.

Varsity Excellence Program/Tournament Training (ages 16-18) This program is a high-caliber class geared toward the seasoned, high level high school varsity team player and those with their sights set on USTA sanctioned/non-sanctioned tournament participation.

Class meets 2:00 - 4:00 pm.

Five, eight-day (Monday through Thursday) sessions of each class will be offered:

In the event of inclement weather, make-up classes will be held on Fridays.

Cost: 45-minute class, $65 for residents and $73 for non-residents
60-minute class, $73 for residents and $81 for non-residents
90-minute class, $89 for residents and $97 for non-residents
2-hour class, $125 for residents and $133 for non-residents

2016 Summer Adult Tennis

2016 ADULT SESSION SCHEDULE


CARDIO HAS BEEN EXPANDED AND HAS NEW HOURS!


The Dearborn Community Tennis Association will offer Dearborn area

adults two nights of Cardio Tennis this summer.

All classes meet at the Dearborn High courts.

Intermediate/Cardio Tennis features drills and games designed to provide

participants with the ultimate high energy workout.

Classes meet in two, four-week sessions, offered on either

Monday and/or Wednesday evenings at Dearborn High School from 7:00 to 8:30 pm.

2016 Cost per four-week session:

One day per week: $45

Two days per week: $90
