DeAnna Teske Espinoza

I currently serve as a Public Services Librarian at the Five Forks Branch of Gwinnett County Public Library in Georgia.  I began my career as a Library Assistant within this system at the Suwanee location in 2006 after graduating from Georgia State University with a BA in English.  In 2008, I was promoted to Library Associate and began work on my Masters of Library and Information Science at Valdosta State University, graduating in 2009.  In 2010, I began my career as a Librarian at the Duluth Branch where I served the Duluth community and staff by providing customer service and training to both the public and the staff. November 2012 brought me a new library home at the Five Forks Branch where I now serve residents of the Lawrenceville, Lilburn, and Snellville communities.

My passion is leadership and training.  I believe that with a well informed and trained staff, you can accomplish anything.  Positive attitudes are infectious and when staff members love their jobs, customers know.  It is my goal to promote library services by developing customer friendly access in innovative ways.
