Journal club - Pizza lunch meetings

Expanding knowledge of discipline-based science education research and discussing practical issues in adaptation and implementation of curricula and pedagogies found effective via research

During these weekly meetings, papers from discipline-based science education research will be discussed with a focus on practical issues in adaptation and implementation at Pitt of the curricula and pedagogies found effective via research. These meetings are intended to be informal and it is desired that everybody attending contributes in order to foster close collaboration and sharing of ideas among the faculty engaged in scholarship of teaching and learning in the natural sciences. Graduate students can also participate. The topic or paper(s) to be discussed at the meeting will be announced ahead of time and if possible relevant reading material will be distributed via email.
