Introduction

The site DbIndAlgae is a comprehensive database of different types of algae collected from Indian coasts. It provides all the necessary details like sampling sites, DNA sequence data and the distinguishing morphological features as well. The database is maintained by Marine Phycology Lab, Centre for Plant Sciences, Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, India. It is an open database and researchers can submit the details by sending an email to dbindalgae@gmail.com. The entries should pertain to Indian algae only.
