Luthier with Full Service Shop

• • • Gary Davis has over 36 years of experience as a luthier.

    • He won three tone awards at the International VSA competitions including the highest awards for tone - two silver medals for cello tone in 2002 and 2006.

    • He heads a full service shop that services, adjusts and restores old and new cellos.

    • Mr. Davis has been entrusted with complete care and tone adjustment of many notable cellists' instruments, such as

          • Sergey Antonov's cello (2007 XIII International Tschaikowski Competition Gold medal winner)

          • Terry King's cellos

    • Quality cellos in all price ranges are available as well as accessories such as bows and cases.

    • Gary also holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Cello Performance from Boston Conservatory of Music.
