The Tamar valley, which divides Devon & Cornwall, was once famous for its orchards and early Spring daffodils which thrived in its mild climate. Here and there a few remain such as this apple & cherry orchard at Capel Tor beside the middle reaches of the Tamar valley.
This area has a great attachment to me as I live only fifteen minutes walk away and pass by the orchard and river most weeks.
