About Me Currently I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, working with Prof. Rubén Moreno Bote on neuro-computational models of navigation and imagination-based planning. Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Cambridge Centre for Ageing and Neuroscience, Department of Psychology, University of Cambridge, where I worked with Profs. Lorraine Tyler and Richard Henson on the brain mechanisms underlying successful cognitive ageing across cognitive domains over the entire adult lifespan. I completed my MSc and PhD in Computer Science at the University of Sussex, UK, co-supervised by Profs. Thomas Nowotny, Anil Seth and George Kemenes. Previously I obtained an MSc in Computer Engineering at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary. During my PhD, I worked on the effect of wiring constraints on the topological features of the human brain's structural connectivity, the connectome, along with the effect of these structural features on the brain's functional connectivity. Previously, I participated in the development of a StdpC, a freely available experimentation software for electrophysiologists to interact with (record and stimulate) neural populations, for example, to introduce simulated synapses between neurons. Before that, I was an undergraduate researcher at theBudapest Complex Systems and Computational Neuroscience Group where I studied the error correction capabilities of the enthorinal-hippocampal grid cell - place cell system of the rat against path-integration artefacts, using simulated neural network models in a virtual navigation environment. My research interests include:
