David Sturrock

I am an Economic Adviser to the Chancellor of the Exchequer and member of the Council of Economic Advisers at HM Treasury. 

Prior to this, I was an Associate Director of the Institute for Fiscal Studies.

My current research seeks to understand households' accumulation and use of wealth, the inter-generational transmission of inequality, and how these processes are affected by government policies.
