David Jimenez-Gomez
I am a behavioral economist and applied mathematician working at the intersection of economic theory, experiments, and health-related behavior.
I am an Assistant Professor (with tenure) at University of Alicante. Previously I was a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Chicago, after having completed my PhD at MIT.
My research interests (theoretical and applied) are in behavioral science. I have a theoretical research agenda, including behavioral game theory, evolutionary origins of preferences, and most recently the intersection of behavioral science and artificial intelligence. My applied research agenda includes behavioral welfare economics, and experimental interventions (including nudges) to modify health-related behaviors.
