HomePage

Hello, my name is David Grosman. Welcome to my website where you will be able to find some of the projects and code samples that I have worked on while attending Digipen Institute Of Technology, as well as my Resume. I am mostly interested in developing, or refining complex systems in Graphics and Visualization  related fields such as Physics, 3D and Animation in order to ease the work of other programmers. Developing content-pipeline tools for other artists or designers is also something I enjoy.

I have already completed several internships. The first one was with a small french game company named MKO Games where I was a tool developer,  while the second was at UbiSoft Montreal where I was part of the engine team of "Shawn White Skateboarding" and the third one was at Vicarious Visions as a Gameplay Programmer on Skylanders Swap Force. All of these internships were extremely enriching as they helped me develop my professional skills. They also introduced me to XBox360/PS3 console development and the Agile/SCRUM methodology.

I then worked at Havok where I joined as a Developer Support Engineer, gaining a better insight into all the different Havok middlewares and learning how to use its technologies as optimally as possible given the customers' Games. In June 2013, I started working as a Software Engineer in the Havok Physics SDK Team where I strived to release an accessible, useful and optimized Product while improving/implementing its growing ground breaking features-list to all our customers.

Since September 2015, I am pursuing a Master of Science in Engineering in Computer Graphics and Game Technology at the University of Pennsylvania to broaden my knowledge in 3D Simulation and to use my strong experience in simulation and animation to complete a research thesis that is directly applicable to video games

I will be updating this website as soon as I develop new programs that I find interesting to list here.

Please, do not hesitate to contact me if you need further information, or if you have any comments (positive, and / or negative) on my website.
