Anyone with a computer today can use it to do photography digitally to scan photos and film, edit and manipulate images, as well as make photo prints and output images for numerous purposes. A computer in many ways mimics the analog film photographers' darkroom. My Digital Darkroom Resources CD is a how-to learning tool of illustrated articles in Adobe Acrobat .PDF format. In addition to written text the article are illustrated with screenshots of applications showing how the program works, as well as high quality photographs to illustrate what the results should look like.

The CD was reviewed in Shutterbug magazine and is available at http://www.shutterbug.net/techniques/digital_darkroom/0308davidbrooks/index.html

The information in the articles contained in the CD is based on my personal experience of being a photographer since 1952, a writer for photo magazines since 1972, and totally committed to digital photography full-time since 1990. I am currently a contributor to Shutterbug magazine and have a monthly column called Digital Help, as well as my personal blog at http//fotografx.blogspot.com/

I am pleased to announce a new 4th Edition adding 6 chapters to my eBook DIGITAL DARKROOM RESOURCE CD. The CD now contains 33 chapters totaling 399 pages in Adobe Acrobat .PDF format, providing easy to read text and large high quality illustration. The CD is available for $20.00 plus $5.00 shipping and handling (US Mail if available). Ordering is as simple as sending a check or money order for $25.00 made out to me, David B. Brooks and mailed to P.O. Box 2830, Lompoc, CA 93438.

(I am sorry but I am old-fashioned in some ways and the CD cannot be purchased with a credit card nor can the contents be downloaded)

If you have any questions I will be happy to answer an e-mail sent to: goofotografx@gmail.com
