Leonardis is big, sweet, goofy red/rust male Doberman. He just turned a year old so he is still very much a puppy in an almost full grown body. Leo has a docked tail and ears that were cropped but do not stand up. He weighs about 75 pounds and will probably fill out a bit more before he stops growing. Leo is house and crate trained and rides well in a car. Leo is a great dog with huge potential. He just needs time to mature so his attention span improves and continued training to keep him mentally stimulated. Like all young dobes, Leo needs a home where he will get proper daily exercise to expend his youth energy. He will be fine as an only dog or with a large female doggie playmate who will be tolerant of his youthful enthusiasm. Due to his youthful exuberance Leo is not an appropriate dog for a home with small kids. He is unknown with cats. Leo is a big, lovable boy who can’t wait to have a family of his own to love.
I am spayed/neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on all vaccinations and on monthly heartworm preventative.

This is My Story!
Leonardis' owner had never owned a large dog, did not have a fenced yard and didn't have the ability/inclination to provide him with proper mental or physical stimulation. Lucky for Leonardis, she called DAR&E and asked us to find him an appropriate home.
How You Can Help Me!
***Please do not split your donation among several dogs. Paypal deducts a fee for each transaction which means less monies going to help our dogs. While we do track the donations to the different dog funds, the donations still all wind up in the same place.
