Who Are We?

The Dansville PK-12 Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is open to all parents, teachers, or other families members with students in the Dansville school district. Previously, separate groups serviced the various age ranges/buildings, but merged into a PK-12 organization in 2009 to more efficiently serve our students and their families.
Parents, guardians and school staff are welcome to attend any and all meetings, but are also encouraged to help with specific events, if their schedules do not allow them to regularly attend meetings. Help is always needed and input is always encouraged!
Meeting Dates: first Monday of each month from September to June (If date conflicts with a holiday, meeting will move to 2nd Monday)
Note: An organizational meeting in August is held, if needed, to plan early fall events.
Meeting Location: EBH (Elementary) Library
The Mission of the Dansville PTO is to:
  • foster and maximize the potential of the young in our community by offering engaging, inclusive, open and fun educational activities to all.
  • collaborate with our parents and teachers to promote the physical and mental health, welfare and well-being – at home, in school and in the wider community – of our children and youth.
  • work towards the improvement in the care for and safety of vulnerable children.
