Welcome

I am currently a J.J. Sylvester Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Johns Hopkins University.

I completed my PhD in the University of Texas at Austin under the advisory of Professors Luis Caffarelli and Francesco Maggi.

I work on the calculus of variations and Partial Differential Equations, with particular emphasis on quantitative  geometric inequalities, geometric flows, and free boundary problems.

As an economist, I am a researcher in the RiSE group in  the areas of economic geography and complexity theory.
