I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Before that I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Biostatistics at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, working with Dr. Sebastien Haneuse. My research is focused on Bayesian statistics, particularly joint models for longitudinal and time-to-event outcomes, survival analysis, repeated measures data, and computational methods, including machine (deep) learning and big data. In addition, I have also been working on statistical modeling/methods in public health and educational studies.
