I was born in Vicenza, a small town in Veneto, Italy, not far from Venice, Padova and Verona.

I received the Doctoral degree in Information and Communication Technology at the University of Padova in 2014. I received both the Bachelor and Master degrees in Telecommunications Engineering with honors (110/110 cum laude) in year 2004 and 2007, respectively, at the University of Padova, Italy.
I did an internship for my MS thesis at NTT DOCOMO Euro-Labs, the first Japanese mobile operator, on network coding based wireless sensor networks (WSN) applications.

Summary & Interests
R&D Telecommunications Engineer for the design and deployment of services for mobile communication networks.
Broadly speaking, experience on the whole engineering path, from ideas to the business/market through the service/application requirements collection, design, implementation, testing and prototyping.
Topics of interest: software-defined networking (SDN) to control via software the hardware elements of core and access networks (e.g., OpenFlow management tools), quality of experience (QoE) based solutions for video on demand and streaming over mobile networks.

I was first employed at NTT DOCOMO Euro-Labs as R&D researcher in the Ubiquitous Networking Research Group for four years. I am currently working as Senior Telecommunications Engineer at CFR and for the University of Padova.
