The Biostatistics Team is a team of the Epidemiology and Biostatistics INSERM Research center, within Bordeaux Public Health School. It has 12 permanent positions of researchers and professors. The team was involved (up to 2013) in the MOBIDYQ project which aimed at developing and making available methods for dynamical biostatistics models. It also works on mechanistic models, especially for the HIV infection and also develops activities and statistical genetics. This research axis led by Rodolphe Thiébaut became an INRIA team. In January 2014, Hélène Jacqmin-Gadda became the new head of the team.
