My name is Shannon Wisemiller. When I started my journey as a teacher, it was a job, but now owning Dance Explosion is a passion. I have been teaching dance for 26 years and have been a dancer since the young age of 8. I have choreographed musicals, judged tryouts and was the New Richmond High School Dance Team coach for 3 years. The staff and dancers at our studio have become “family” to me. Dance training is a very special experience for your child and the love of dance is instilled in all of our dancers.

“Praise His Name with Dancing” – Psalms 149

My name is Bailey Breault. I first joined the Dance Explosion family my eighth grade year of Middle School. I danced in Tap, Jazz, Poms, Hip Hop & Lyrical, and soon moved on to become an Assistant Teacher. I brought the skills I learned at Dance Explosion to Viterbo University, where I was Captain of the dance team. I graduated from Viterbo in 2014 with a degree in Communications & Management. I now spend my time working at City & County Credit Union in the Marketing Department. I’m so thankful to be back at Dance Explosion. I truly believe in the power of dance - not only as a form of expression, but as a way for dancers to build confidence.
My name is Meghan Borgestad. I started dancing at Dance Explosion when I was three years old. I have danced every style of dance, from Tap, Jazz and Poms, to Hip Hop, Lyrical, Ballet and Kick. I assistant taught, danced on the High School Dance Team and loved to compete. I started teaching at Dance Explosion in 2007. I have taught every style of dance at every age level. I am also a nurse at the St Croix County Health Center. My husband Pat and I live in New Richmond with our four children, Chloe, Brady, Blake Rose and Briggs. When we are not at Dance, Hockey, Volleyball or Football, we are up north at our cabin. I enjoy reading, cleaning, watching reality TV and organizing things!  Dancing is only half of why I love it here, I love the dancers, the parents, the music and of course the staff. I love that BOTH of my daughters love dancing here. Chloe is on her 11th year and Blake is on her 3rd year. I truly hope that every person that walks through the door at Dance Explosion sees not only a studio, but a place to grow as a person, a place to gain true friendships that will last a lifetime, and a place to call your second home!
My name is Mikaela Moening. I have been a part of Dance Explosion since 2006 and I have been dancing since I was only three years old. I have been involved in all styles of dance and my favorite classes to teach are tap, poms, and Father/Daughter. I currently attend UW-River Falls and will graduate this spring. When I am not at school or at the studio, I am waitressing, working with my home church, or at Luther Point Bible Camp as a member of the Board of Directors. I enjoy spending time with my fiancé and our dog Saydie, being with family, spending time outside, singing/playing instruments, and cleaning! Dancing has been one of the most impactful parts of my life. I love spending time with kids and surrounding myself with happy & wonderful people. That is why it is a true blessing to be a part of the Dance Explosion family. It is more than just a place to learn how to dance. It is a place where people can feel safe, loved, and accepted. I am honored to be a teacher here at Dance Explosion and I hope that everyone who walks through these doors experiences the love and joy that I have experienced here over the years.
