Season 2018/19 Trial Age Grade Law Variations (AGLVs)

posted 8 Jul 2018, 06:17 by Elaine Neilson

The club recently attended a regional roadshow with Scottish Rugby where a trial set of Age Grade Law Variations (AGLVs) were introduced for the coming season.
These trial laws affect P4 up to U15.
The aim is to break the game down to make it easier for players to learn in a building block style as they progress towards the full 15-a-side game.
Over the next week or so we will post the law trials for each age group but the full document can be downloaded here.

Season 2017/2018 club kit will be supplied by GPE Team Sports. Our new strip is manufactured by Macron but is very similar in design to the previous Canterbury kit to allow players to wear existing strips until they need to be replaced.
Online orders will be delivered to the club for collection.

Club Fun Day

posted 21 Aug 2017, 11:30 by Elaine Neilson

🏉🏉🏉Annual Club Fun Day this Saturday at 11am on the main pitch. Each age group will work their way round different activities for around 1-2 hours, depending on the weather.
🍰🍫Cake and biscuit donations most welcome as would any volunteers who could help in the tea tent for a spell.
Dalziel 1st XV take on GHK in the first round of the cup at 2pm (time tbc tonight) and we would love it if players and families would like to stick around and cheer the guys on.
Please note the Fun Day replaces our usual 10am training session.
