Mini rugby is fast, rough, muddy and enormously good fun to play. Rugby has a position for everyone no matter what size or shape they are.

This season we will be running mixed teams for boys and girls at Micros P1/2, P3 and Minis P4, P5, P6 and P7. P1-3s play touch rugby and contact is introduced from P4.

We are based at Dalziel Park and train at 10am on Saturdays. Some games are played on Sundays but we try to get as many games as we can on Saturdays at the normal training time. See our fixture list here.

Minis coaching is all about teaching children the basics and developing their technique and rugby skills over a season in a safe, FUN and positive way. Our aim is to develop and maintain a passion for rugby and to give all players an opportunity to play for the club.

Each age group has a Lead Coach. These roles are assisted by a wider coaching group. All coaches are volunteers and will have been trained to IRB/SRU Rugby Ready standards. Some of the coaches will hold UKCC Level 1 or Level 2, and Refereeing qualifications.

If you are interested in playing mini rugby or are the parent of a child who is interested in playing please contact the relevant age group Lead Coach or come along to see us at our next training session.  Click here for contacts.
