Later this month, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) plans to finalize new air emission controls for the oil and gas industry.  By revising the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) and revising and adding New Source Performance Standards (NSPS), EPA hopes to reduce Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) and Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) emissions from oil and gas operations, including hydraulic fracturing wells.  With these new regulations, EPA will reach most operations associated with oil and gas production.  The speaker will address the applicability of the new regulations, the timing for compliance, the operational changes needed to comply, and the penalties for noncompliance.
