CEFCO owns a patented process technology proved to meet or exceed compliance with the UTILITY MACT (Maximum Achievable Control Technology), NESHAP (New Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants), CSAPR (Cross-State Transport Rule). On May 22, 2002 this technology was recognized by EPA as Hazardous Waste Combustion MACT. US Patent 7,842,264 issued Nov. 30, 2010 Patent Titled: Process and apparatus for carbon capture and elimination of multi-pollutants in flue gas from hydrocarbon fuel sources and recovery of multiple by-products.

What’s in it for me?
Here’s part of the answer:
• I can familiarize myself with MACT requirements.
• I should visualize how improved CEFCO flue gas treating can improve my chemical engineering knowledge base, objective.
• I should see how CEFCO process improve my company’s product or productivity.
• I might see ways on how this technology might change the way other companies would compete with my company’s products.
• I should see some areas where my responsibilities as an engineer relate to those that depend upon my decisions for their welfare.
• I will have the opportunity to network with leaders in the Chemical Engineering field.
At this meeting you may also volunteer to offer a talk on your favorite engineering or management subject, making yourself known to your peers and seniors attending the meeting or receiving the meeting invitation. Do not miss the meeting!
