Your characters and your story deserve the best and worst and everything that lies between both of them.

Your characters and your story deserve the best and worst and everything that lies between both of them.

This is a partial quote of an individual, who calls himself, Michael Hamilton.  I do know if the individual is real or a pseudonym.

“You can Love something and still Criticize it.

You can Hate something and still Respect it.

In all things, there are good, evil and all the grey in between.

It takes a reasonably minded person accept and react/comment in a constructive/productive way.”

I thought that this is a very good quote and I apply it to authors and their stories that I read.

I may sometimes read a story and am able to insert grammatical corrections, misspellings and punctuation but it does not make it a bad story.

Just some elements are not as polished as they should be.  I recently read a book by Dave Wickendon and found the story portion to be exemplary

and compelling.  The subject matter was first rate and it had a very satisfying story and ending.  I would rank it almost up there with James

Patterson and David Baldacci.  This is an up and coming author in my humble opinion.

I look forward to reading more from him.
