Examine the Percentages

Achievable goals.

In the example below, please insert your activity of choice:

If one tries to run 1 mile per day, and runs just 6 blocks (8 city blocks in a mile roughly) then your

achievement is exemplary.

However, if one sets a goal of running 5 miles a day and one runs and walks just 2 to 3 miles; that is a vast

improvement.

Tip number 1 of the lesson is set your goals higher in order to make significant achievements.

When was the last time you set a goal for watching TV?  I’ll bet that “goal” is easily attainable by anyone.  It

is too easy a goal and makes no progress toward a greater achievement that you are trying to attain.  The same with playing video games.  That goal is easy to set and break since it has nothing of worth beyond just playing the game.

Tip number 2; set goals that matter.  Set goals that will hook into a life changing overall goal.

Tip number 3; find a percentage that works for you.  Zero percent will get you no where so ensure that your

percentage of effort is higher than

that.

Writers, practice writing just an hour or two a day and over 365 days, that equals 365 to 730 hours of practice

in a year.
