Abigail Adams

"My bursting heart must find vent at my pen."

-Abigail Adams (Former First Lady of the United States)

Grab your pen, pencil, smart phone, computer, tablet, brush, there are so many forms in which we can express our ideas, yet, most of us are consumers of ideas not generators of ideas.

Generating content is for the few, consuming content is for the masses.

Ask yourself if you are a consumer?  Yes, you should be to the extent that it helps you gather ideas, opinions, knowledge, information and research to then turn around and become a generator.

So you are in-taking the ideas and information and from that you are formulating or reformulating and becoming expressive in your mind and that helps you not only digest the information but to put your own spin and other ideas.

This is an extremely important part of education.  It is not only to spit out the answers but also to see how it affects and find out the transitions that your mind goes through to have its own thoughts.

Think like a sheep and you will follow the herd.  Think like a fox and your curiosity and cleverness will astound you.

How are you thinking?
