Welcome to my website. I am a professor of accounting at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My research focuses on shareholder litigation, financial reporting fraud, corporate law and governance, regulation, and accounting standards.

 My education includes a J.D. from the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a Ph.D. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois. Links related to my academic work follow.
