What is Beta Club?
The Dacula High School Beta Club is an elite group of students who show outstanding academic, leadership, and service qualities. We serve our community by participating in various service projects such as working with the elderly, assisting underprivileged children, participating in canned food drives, and more.
How do I Become a Member?
Beta Club invitations go out in the Fall Semester of each year to eligible Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors. To qualify for an invitation, a student must hold an overall average of 92% or higher. Once a member of Beta, students must maintain a 90% overall average and complete a minimum of 15 community service hours, 10 of which must be Beta Club projects or "inside" DHS hours..
Requirements
Minimum of 10 Inside Hours
Maximum of 5 Outside Hours
Senior Hours Due Thursday Before Spring Break
Sophomore and Junior Hours Due at the Last Meeting
Members Must Have a Positive Attitude and a Desire to Lead, Serve, and Act as Moral Role Models
