BabesLite-B, and DaBigBabes-B and C, require the Extended Map Art and corresponding modified Map Data Files. Babes has standardized on the basic Andrew Brown Extended Map, but includes some additions, made over time, that are not in the basic AB version. In order for the new bases, in the Babes B and C Locations files, to appear properly, the modified Map Art and Data MUST be dowloaded and installed. The Babes Extended Map Art consists of the following ten modified map panels; five non-hex panels and five with-hex panels.
WPEN00.bmp, WPEN01.bmp, WPEN09.bmp, WPEN15.bmp, and WPEN024.bmp (non-hex);
WPEH00.bmp, WPEH01.bmp, WPEH09.bmp, WPEH15.bmp, and WPEH024.bmp (with-hex);

Installing these few map panels, in place of the corresponding Stock map panels, makes the resulting map a complete version of the AE Extended Map.
In order for these Art changes to function correctly, there are new Map Data Files which MUST be copied to the main folder where War in the Pacific is installed. These files are pwhexe.dat, pwzone.dat and pwzlink.dat and are included in the chosen Map Art and Data download file.
Go to the Map Art and Data page. Download the chosen Map Art and Data zip file; unzip the new Map Data files into the main, top-level folder of the game directory; unzip the new ART Folder into the ART Folder of the game directory.
Be sure to save/backup the original Map Art files and the original Map Data files. Suggest you create two new folders, under the main game folder, called AE Stock Map Data and AE Ext Map Data, and create a sub-folder called ART under each of these, as shown;
Copy the Stock pwhexe.dat, pwzone.dat, and pwzlink.dat files from the main game folder to the AE Stock Map Data folder. Then copy the Stock WPEN00.bmp, WPEN01.bmp, WPEN09.bmp, WPEN15.bmp, WPEN024.bmp, WPEH00.bmp, WPEH01.bmp, WPEH09.bmp, WPEH15.bmp and WPEH024.bmp files from the main ART folder to the AE Stock Map Data/ART folder.
Download the chosen Map Art and Data file and unzip the pwhexe.dat, pwzone.dat, and pwzlink.dat files into the AE Ext Map Data folder. Then unzip the WPEN00.bmp, WPEN01.bmp, WPEN09.bmp, WPEN15.bmp, WPEN024.bmp, WPEH00.bmp, WPEH01.bmp, WPEH09.bmp, WPEH15.bmp and WPEH024.bmp files into the AE Ext Map Data/ART folder.
You now have the Ext Map installed and the Stock originals backed up, and may simply COPY and PASTE the Map Data from either Stock or Ext data folders into the main game folder, and the Map Art from either Stock or Ext ART folders into the main ART folder.
