Cheryl Yund Goodrich, PhD., offers consultation, psychotherapy, and psychoanalysis (CA PSY 13192) in Palo Alto, California for adults, adolescents, children, and parents. She also offers consultation to mental health practitioners. Her approach is to foster development of enduring adaptive capacities.
Dr. Goodrich is Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Stanford University. She is also on the faculty of the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis and the Palo Alto Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program, a two-year continuing education program designed to help therapists expand their knowledge and skills in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. She is a personal analyst for the Psychoanalytic Institute of Northern California.
Dr. Goodrich received her undergraduate degree from Yale University, did graduate work at Mills College, Oakland, received a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at the University of California, Berkeley and Ph.D. from The Wright Institute, Berkeley, California.
