HP Boys

2009-2010 High Performance Boys Program

So What is High Performance?

Think of it as an All-Star team similar to what is used in Baseball.  All boys are invited to attend monthly clinics all over NC with other boys in our region.  At the end of the season, boys would be invited to join the HP Youth or Junior team to attend national events against other HP teams around the nation.

What about boys?
The Carolina Region began its High Performance Program for girls in 2001 and added boys in 2007.  HP Clinics are held across the state and Youth and Junior High Performance Teams are selected to High Performance Camps and to also represent the Carolina Region in larger national USAV Region's High Performance Tournaments.  The biggest contribution that the monthly HP Boys clinics is the opportunity for all of our boys to be in a gym together playing the great sport of volleyball.  This is also a chance for NC Boys to be coached by some of the best coaches in the state...many of them are men that had opportunities to play in High School, College and even National Teams.

How, What, Where and When?
Early Registration Costs $25-$30 ($35-$40 if received within one week or day of clinic).  You must be a member of USAV which costs only $15 for boys for the entire year.  More information can be found at the Carolina Region High Performance website: http://www.carolinaregionvb.org/HP
