Offered by the Center for Cybersecurity education and the San Jose State University- Jay Pinson STEM education program, in collaboration with Middle schools from Franklin McKinley School district, Campbell Union School district and CommUniverCity, are bringing a new initiative to San Jose, CyberGirlz Silicon Valley.

Our program is designed to inspire middle school aged girls to engage in the exciting fields of Computer Science and Cybersecurity. The teams of girls will participate in hands-on Computer Science and Cybersecurity learning activities facilitated by a lead teacher, San Jose State university students and industry professionals.

On May 2nd, SAN JOSE STATE UNIVERSITY will be hosting a CYBERGIRLZ SILICON VALLEY SUMMIT. The teams of girls will get to test their skills by competing in a Capture the Flag competition, and be able to meet and be inspired by industry professionals.
