On Tuesday, October 7, 2008, a friend and I drove to Concordia, Kansas early so we could take in the sites before the Taste of Home Cooking School.  We had lunch at The Huckleberry Tea House.

Here I am having fun inside the Tea House.

The area that I am standing in is a section where there are several hats, boas, etc, that customers can put on and have their photo taken.  This is encouraged at The Huckleberry Tea House and is lots of fun!

Other photos of the tea house.

Here are some other ladies having fun celebrating a Birthday!

The owner of the tea house is one on the right.  Her name is Lois!

On October 7, 2008 I attended the Taste of Home Cooking School at Cloud County Community College in Concordia, Kansas sponsored by KCLY Radio Station, Clay Center, Kansas.

Here is a photo of my booth at the Taste of Home Cooking School.

I sold several books Hometown Appetites: The Story of Clementine Paddleford, the Forgotten Food Writer Who Chronicles How America Ate and made some new friends!

Here are some additional photos. In most you can my banner hanging on the railing with other banners.
