About Me

I am an Professor at the department of applied mathematics of National Chung Hsing University (NCHU). I received my Ph.D degree in computer science and information engineering from the National Cheng Kung University in 2010. Before joining NCHU, I was an associate professor at Tamkang University (Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering), postdoctoral researcher at Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica, Taiwan, and an intern of Microsoft Research Asia.

國際獎項與經歷

• Microsoft R&D intern, 參與微軟Bing(影像)搜尋引擎專案

• Microsoft Fellowship (微軟學者獎), 2006; 全亞洲共有34位「微軟學者獎」得主，這個獎項的目的是微軟用來評鑑與鼓勵具有潛力的年輕研究學者; 為成大首次獲獎，TVBS、民視、三立等各電視台及自由時報、中國時報、聯合報等各大報社及天下雜誌的專訪 

學術獎項

• IEEE ICASI (國際會議)  First Paper Award 獎項  2017。

• ICISIP (國際會議)  Best Poster Award 獎項  2016。

• TAAI （人工智慧與應用研討會）2012  最佳論文獎

• 錄取為中研院院聘博士後研究人員 2011;  (通過率約30%)
