  • 2001 Fellow of the Cambridge European Society, University of Cambridge.
  • 2010  The paper "An Open Economy Model with Currency Substitution and Real Dollarization" (G. Corrado) published in the Journal of Economic Studies (2008) was awarded with the Research Prize in Economics by the Faculty of Economics, University of Rome "Tor Vergata" with the following motivation: "The paper deals with interesting and difficult real world issues (which is a plus). I would also award another 'plus' for single authorship. A lot of work has gone into this one.
