-2021-2022 Principal Investigator (PI) in the research project on “Corruption Perceptions and Anti-corruption Policies” selected by the Department of Management and Law of the University of Rome Tor Vergata among the projects funded by the 2019 Beyond Borders research grant (project ID E89C20000660005), University of Rome Tor Vergata (duration 18 months).

-2017-2019 FFABR research grant (Fondo di Finanziamento per le Attività Base di Ricerca) awarded by the Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes (ANVUR) and the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR).

-June 2016-March 2018 Principal Investigator (PI) in the Research Project “A Lab-type Experimental Study on Corruption” funded by the 2015 Consolidate the Foundations research grant (project ID E82F16000450005) awarded by the University of Rome Tor Vergata.

-February 2016-2019 Representative on behalf of the Dipartimento di Management e Diritto of the University of Rome Tor Vergata for the agreement on "Prevenzione e repressione della corruzione e dell’illegalità nella Pubblica Amministrazione" (Responsabile designato dalle Parti per la gestione delle attività dell’Accordo di collaborazione) signed in February 2016 between Scuola Nazionale dell’Amministrazione (SNA) and the following partners: Dipartimento di Scienze Giuridiche, University of Rome Sapienza (Prof. Marco D’Alberti) and Dipartimento di Scienze Politiche, Università Roma Tre (Prof.ssa Maria De Benedetto). Article 2 defines the main objectives and aims of the activities to be undertaken mainly in the field of research by the partners of the agreement (duration of the agreement: three years).

-2008 Research grant awarded by the the University of Rome Tor Vergata (Ricerca Scientifica di Ateneo, RSA). Research project “Housing Demand and Consumers' Spending: the New Role of the Housing Market”.

-2004-2005 Fixed-term contract signed with the Department of "Matematica per le decisioni economiche, finanziarie e assicurative", University of Rome Sapienza, funding the research on “The Reform of the International Financial System”.

-2001 (January-June) Research grant awarded by ISFSE-CNR funding the research project on “Central Banks’ Lending of Resort Intervention and Banking Crises” (duration 6 months).

- 1997-1998 Project-related fixed-term contract (Accordo di collaborazione) signed with Confartigianato Servizi. The Confartigianato Research Group on “Productivity and Employment Dynamics in the Italian Small Firms” has been funded by the Italian Ministry of Industry and Commerce (n.1990/7/B). .

 -1997 Research Assistant in the following European Commission-funded research projects (General Directorate 1B): (i) A Comparative Analysis of Services in the European Union and the Mercosur; (ii) Services Sector in Chile: National Regulatory Regime and Economic Conditions.

-1996 Research Assistant in the research project (Progetto Strategico) on “Italian Public Debt Management: Analysis and Policy Guidelines" funded by the Italian National Research Council (CNR). The research study has been presented at the CNR seminar "Rientro e Gestione del Debito Pubblico,  21 February 1997, Rome.

 Scholarships, Fellowships and Prizes

 -1998-2001 Postgraduate Scholarship awarded by the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Doctoral Program in Money and Finance, Faculty of Economics.

 -1998 Finalist in the public selection process for admission to the Doctoral Program in Economics, Faculty of Statistics, University of Rome La Sapienza .

 -2000 Honorary Scholar of the Cambridge European Society and winner of a prize awarded by the Cambridge European Trust, University of Cambridge (UK), with the following motivation: "The Trustees have been impressed by your outstanding economic record and have awarded you the honorary status of a Cambridge European Trust Scholar".

-2001 Fellow of the Cambridge European Society funded by the Cambridge European Trust.

 -2010  Research Prize in Economics for the paper “An Open Economy Model with Currency Substitution and Real Dollarization” (G. Corrado) awarded by the Faculty of Economics of the University of Rome Tor Vergata. External referee's evaluation: "The paper deals with interesting and difficult real world issues (which is a plus). I would also award another 'plus' for single authorship. A lot of work has gone into this one. I like this paper, the best one among those received".
