About Us

We are the Cupertino Rotary Club - a service club serving Cupertino and nearby areas.  We think we are the best Rotary Club on the west coast and have some data that might prove it in terms of service, donations, and time spent in the community.  We meet every Wednesday at the Quinlan Community Center on Stelling Avenue at 12 noon.  You are welcome to drop into our meetings.  The meetings include a hour of business and lunch and then a half hour presentation by an invited speaker.  Come find
out what we are about and, if you like, join our community service club. Our Tournament is in its 21st year.

This year the tournament should be better than ever. We have raised over $1,000,000 over the past 20 years.

This Classic Tournament is played on Deep Cliff Golf Course, the best Executive 18 hole golf course in the state. The tournament event is comprised of several components. It includes a late morning start for an 18 hole best ball tournament, a $1,000,000 dollar Hole in One Contest, and an evening dinner and auction/raffle. All this is augmented with a continental breakfast, small Hole-in-One prize opportunities during the tournament, and an on-course lunch and additional refreshments. We are grateful to Outback Steak-house, Panera’s Bread, and Hobee’s for the wonderful food, sandwiches, and beverages either given or donated at wholesale prices.

This tournament is generously supported by our community and our fellow Rotarians. As a result we are
able to bless over 40 charities each year with the funds garnered by this Tournament. List of reorganizations funded by the tournament.

Each year we pick one organization to receive $25,000 to support some new step or facility they are building to further their mission. This year our beneficiary was selected from a variety of excellent proposals. The beneficiary this year is providing 2 Challenge Days for Cupertino, Lynbrook and Monta Vista High Schools. Of those other proposals we try to give some level of support to at least half of them in addition to our primary beneficiary.

This year Deep Cliff is once again sponsoring a $1,000,000 prize for our "Hole in One" event. They have funded the insurance for the contest. Qualification nights will be from 5:00-7:00PM on April 15, 17, 23 and 27 on the 10th for an explanation of the Hole in One contest at Deep Cliff Golf Course. Click here
