Homemade Buttermilk Ranch

1 cup low-fat sour cream
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon dried chives or 1-2 tablespoons fresh chives
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4-1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/8-1/4 teaspoon salt 
1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Combine all ingredients. Store in a mason jar or airtight container. I recommend letting the ranch sit overnight. The longer it sits to marinate, the better it is!
