In 1999 Marianna MARTINONI graduated in Cultural Heritage Conservation from Ca' Foscari University in Venice. During 1998 she was studying for the Spring semester at the Katholieke Universiteit of Leuven, with a focus on Dutch and Flemish Art History.
In 2000 she attended an international MA in Communication and Management for Public and Private Cultural Policies, LUMSA University, Rome, followed by an internship at Art Media in Brussels. She has worked for several museums, private galleries and cultural organizations in Italy.
In 2002 she obtained a Certificate in Fund Raising Management at the Fund Raising School, University of Bologna, becoming part of the teachers’ group. At present she works as fundraising and communication consultant for non-profit organisations (cultural, health service, scientific research sectors) dealing with analysis and planning of fundraising strategies, communication planning, follow up of the fundraising plans.
Since 2002 she is teacher of Fundraising Principles and Techniques, Fundraising for the Cultural Sector on post graduate and master courses on fund raising in Italy. Since May 2011 she is Board member of ASSIF (Associazione Italiana Fundraiser).
