The Cultural Navigator Program - Helping people on the eastside.

The Cultural Navigator Program is designed to insure that all members of the community can get help for their family.
The Cultural Navigator Program offers free, confidential navigation and information assistance to individuals
and families who have limited English language skills. This program particularly helps people living in East
King County (Bellevue, Kirkland, Issaquah, Sammamish, Redmond, Snoqualmie Valley and South King County)
to navigate systems, find resources and to learn about programs and connect to their community.

Immigrants and refugees may have difficulty in learning the norms of everyday life, such as how to meet with their child's teacher, how to apply for a job, how to take the Metro bus or access information for their new business and also need information to access health, housing and
other services.

The no-cost-to-clients program works to ensure needs are met with available resources and helps people relate to their community increasing the vitality and health of our communities. Funding partners of the program are King County, cities of Bellevue, Kirkland and Redmond, and CISC.
