CHS, Outstanding in District VI Science Fair 2017

The students of Culiat High School remained outstanding in this year’s District VI Science Fair held at Ismael Mathay Sr. High Scool last September 19, 2017. They proved that the students is the hope of our country, by that age, they are able to make Science Investigatory Project (SIP) about the alternative ways that can make our lives easier.

The students won the 1st place in Science Investigatory Project (SIP) Applied Science (Individual Category), 1st place to 5th place in SIP Applied Science (Team Category), 1st place and 2nd place in SIP Life Science (Individual Category), and 1st place to 5th place in SIP Life Science (Team Category).

Proud Research advisers are Karen Anne Redecio, Magielyn Lugo, Madonna Tabuzo, and Jobelle Miranda. Furthermore, the teachers of CHS, compete in the Science Improvisation Teacher Category (Jonalyn Barrientos, Ferdinand Cristobal and Ramona Gurrobat) and SIM Grade 10 (Sander Sumaya) got the 2nd Place and 1st place respectively.

The said students together with the teachers are going to compete at Quezon City High School for the Division level on October 12, 2017, Thursday.






Meanwhile, the Culiat High School successfully celebrated the Science Month 2017 last September with the theme, “Science for the People.”

The Science Department prepares different activities for a month long celebration of the said event. Some of these activities are Poster Making Contest, Slogan Making Contest, Quiz Bee (Individual Category and Group Category), Jingle/ Rap Contest, Interpretative Dance Contest, and Scientist Look-A-Like Contest.

The students actively participated in the different activities and have a Culminating Activity last September 29, 2017.
