Copyright & Fair Use: What is it? Why should I care?

    

    Let's make this easy, shall we? A copyright material is a material that is protected against copying, meaning you cannot copy it, unless you have the okay to do so from the owner, pay the owner, or claim Fair Use. 

    Fair use occurs when someone wishes to copy a copyrighted material, but has a legitimate excuse such as to "as to comment upon, criticize, or parody a copyrighted work".
